FRSC Adamawa Begins Three-Day Special Patrol to Curb Road Crashes

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS3.1 Adamawa Sector Command, has announced the commencement of a three-day Special Intervention Patrol, codenamed “Operation Harbin Kunama,” scheduled to run from July 20 to 22, 2026.
The Sector Command said the monthly operation is aimed at reducing road traffic crashes associated with overloading, route violations, and excessive speeding across Adamawa State.
In a statement issued by the Sector Public Enlightenment Officer Tukur, on behalf of the Sector Commander, CC Ibrahim A. Sadiq, the Corps said the exercise would feature intensified enforcement of traffic laws, public enlightenment campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and enhanced operational visibility to improve road safety.
The Sector Commander urged motorists, transport operators, and other road users to comply with traffic regulations, shun dangerous driving practices, and cooperate with FRSC personnel throughout the operation to ensure its success.
