Governor Fintiri Reaffirms Support for NSCDC in Adamawa

Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in carrying out its constitutional responsibilities across the state.
The governor gave the assurance on Wednesday when the newly deployed Adamawa State Commandant of the NSCDC, Commandant Nasiru Saleh, paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House in Yola following his assumption of office.
During the visit, Commandant Saleh conveyed the goodwill and best wishes of the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, and expressed appreciation for the cordial relationship and sustained support the Adamawa state Government has extended to the Corps over the years.
The commandant reaffirmed the NSCDC’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the state government and other security agencies to enhance the protection of lives and property, safeguard critical national assets and infrastructure, and promote peace and public safety across Adamawa State.
Responding, Governor Fintiri welcomed the new commandant and pledged his administration’s continued support for the NSCDC to enable it to effectively discharge its statutory mandate.He emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration among security agencies in maintaining peace and security in the state.
