The Adamawa State Police Command has strongly condemned the assault of a police officer seen in a viral video currently circulating on social media.
The video, initially posted on the TikTok account @dadiskid_backup, shows a man physically attacking and dragging an officer wearing a camouflage T-shirt. The footage has sparked widespread reactions online, with many calling for accountability.
In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Command described the incident as “unacceptable” and emphasized that any form of attack on law enforcement personnel will not be tolerated.
Authorities have launched a full investigation into the matter and promised that appropriate legal actions will be taken against the perpetrator.
“The Command has commenced a thorough investigation and will ensure justice is served,” SP Nguroje stated.
