ADAMAWA POLICE ARREST TWO FOR RAPING MINORS

Adamawa state police command has succeeded in apprehending a 30years old man for raping a 7years old in Numan, behind Demsa guest inn and another a 53years old for raping a 9years old girl in Ngwalti Village, Numan Local government Area of the State.

The suspects includes:Murtala Muhammed 30years a resident of behind Demsa guest inn and one Pwanbidon Obed 53years, a resident of Gwalti Village, Numan Local government.

They were said to have on the 31/03/2023 at Separate Locations lured their victims into an uncompleted and Completed buildings respectively and forcefully had undue carnal knowledge of them.

The two incidents were reported to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Numan by the parents of the victims .

The State Command Image Maker SP Sulieman Yahaya Nguroje made this I owned in a press release, he noted that preliminary investigation reveals that, the former Suspect is a taxi Driver and the later is a fisher man.

The Adamawa State Commissioner of police CP Afolabi Babatola has directed Officer in charge of Family support unit to take over investigation and ensure deligent prosecution..

CP Babatola equally advice members of the public particularly parents to be watchful of their children especially the girl child against criminal minded element who are roaming about seeking whom to take advantage of.

Meanwhile the CP he has equally assures the Adamawa State government and the general public of the command’s unrelenting effort to see that it end all forms of Gender based violence and promised immediate prosecution of any perpetrator found wanting.
