Ahmed Galadima Aminu (Tijjani), an APC governorship aspirant in Adamawa State, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri over his victory in securing the APC ticket for the Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, describing the outcome as a reward for impactful leadership and dedicated service to the people.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of himself, his campaign team, and the TG-2027 family, Aminu said the governor’s landslide victory reflected the confidence and trust the people of the northern zone have in his leadership and political experience.
According to him, the victory goes beyond politics, stressing that it is “a clear honour and reward for the purposeful, impactful, and result-oriented leadership” Governor Fintiri has provided in Adamawa State.
He noted that the people of the zone had spoken with one voice by endorsing the governor to represent them at the National Assembly, adding that they desired more of his experience, voice, and service.
Aminu further praised Fintiri’s legislative background, describing him as a ranking lawmaker and former Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly whose wealth of experience would benefit both the state and the country.
He expressed confidence that the governor would emerge victorious in the general election and provide quality representation at the Senate.
The APC governorship aspirant also congratulated Chief Felix Tangwami on clinching the APC ticket for the Southern Senatorial Zone, attributing his success to hard work, leadership, and mentorship received under Governor Fintiri during his tenure as Commissioner for Health.
He said Tangwami’s emergence demonstrated that effective mentorship produces capable leaders.
Commenting on the forthcoming rescheduled Adamawa Central Senatorial primary election, Aminu expressed optimism that the APC would field competent and committed candidates capable of prioritising the interests of the people.
He reiterated his congratulations to Governor Fintiri and Chief Tangwami, while urging party members and supporters to remain hopeful and committed as the political process continues.
