Batta Cheifdom conferred traditional title on immediate past president of NAWOJ

Batta Cheifdom in Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa has conferred traditional title on immediate past president of National Association of Women Journalist (NAWOJ) Ladi Bala as Nzubyalata Batta ( spokesperson of Batta Cheifdom).The title was conferred by the Hama Batta Homun Alhamdu Teneke (JP) at the Palace of Batta Chiefdom.
The royal father said that he is confident that Ladi Bala would deliver as the spokespersons to the Chiefdom.He noted that it’s a clarion call for her to serve as a daughter of the soil.The Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalist, NUJ Adamawa council, Ishaka Dedan appreciated the Royal Father for bestowing the title on Ladi Bala.
According to him, the entire Nigeria Journalists in Adamawa State appreciates Hama Batta for trusting a journalist with a very sensitive title.Ladi Bala, loudly appreciated the Royal Father for the confidence response on her and assured to serve the chief to best of her ability.
She said that the responsibility came to her as a surprise as she vowed to put in her best.Our reporter reports that the Nzubyalata Hama Batta was accompanied by NAWOJ members and other dignitaries to pay a thank you visit in appreciating Hama Batta for the appointment and for being gender sensitive.Bala is also the first female of being Nzubyalata Hama Batta.
