In a bid to enhance public awareness and promote its development objectives, the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project in Adamawa State has concluded a two day intensive training for 117 media practitioners and information officers across the 21 local government areas of the state.
The workshop, which was organized in collaboration with Dunabel Dynamics Concept Ltd, focused on project documentation, effective information dissemination, and documentary production.
The goal is to ensure accurate and compelling communication of the project’s impact on livestock development and economic growth in the state.
Speaking during the event, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Livestock and Aquaculture Development, Muhammed Aminu Suleiman, disclosed that the workshop marked the 10th in a series of trainings conducted by L-PRES this year.
He emphasized the importance of information dissemination to organizational growth, describing it as the “bedrock” of every successful initiative.
“Training livestock farmers along the value chain is crucial, but ensuring that the right information reaches the right audience is even more critical,” Suleiman stated. “People need to know how L-PRES has impacted farmers, the livestock value chain, and what it contributes to Adamawa State’s economy.”
Also speaking at the opening of the training, the State Project Coordinator, Secondee Alfa RAS, expressed satisfaction with the turnout and praised the commitment of journalists and local government information officers who participated.
