Medical Outreach:Adamawa Hikers Group Donated Cash To Sixty Five Hospitalise Patient

The Adamawa state Hikers Group staged a medical outreach to support hospitalized patient at the specialist hospital during the weekend.The Hikers dolled out a cash donation to sixty five patients at the Specialist Hospital Yola.
While speaking to the press,the Adamawa state Chief Hiker Mr. Lazarus Daniel explained that the gesture was out of human feelings,He further detailed that this is the second phase of the outreach of which similar exercise was carried out last year.
According to him, a lot of people need help especially the sick hence the decision to give the five thousand naira cash donation each to the beneficiaries.
Mr. Daniel who said the humanitarian gesture is done once a year by the group urged those interested to feel free and join.
He pointed out that for now the group does not assess assistance from any body or group adding that members contribute among themselves to reach out to the sick.
The Chief Hiker encouraged members to be resilient and continue to commit to the course of the group and humanity in general.
Meanwhile in their separate remarks, the Prince and Princess of Adamawa Hikers, Chukukwa Ignatius and Habiba Dalilu expressed satisfaction for having given the assistance.
They applauded the members of the group for their cooperation and appreciated God for affording them the opportunity to reach out to the sick.
