6 DEAD IN FATAL ACCIDENT ALONG GIREI ROAD,ADAMAWA POLICE CONFIRM
YOLA —By Ojoma Yusuf,YolaThe Adamawa State Police Command confirms a fatal motor accident that occurred today, 4th September, 2026, along Girei Road.In a release by the police public relations officer SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje he detailed that preliminary report indicates that 6 persons lost their lives in the crash. The victims were rushed to a hospital where they were confirmed dead.Police operatives from Girei Divisional Headquarters, Federal Housing and the Central Motor Traffic Division were immediately mobilized to the scene to evacuate the victims and restore normal flow of traffic.The Commissioner of Police, CP Kabir Umar Hassan, fdc, commiserates with the families of the deceased and prays for the repose of their souls.While appealing for calm, the Command urges motorists to drive with caution, obey traffic rules, and avoid overspeeding in order to prevent further loss of lives.Further details will be communicated as investigation continues.
