AIG ZONE 3 HOST PCRC NATIONAL WOMEN COORDINATOR IN OF CHARGE NORTHEAST

YOLA —The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge Zone 3 Police Headquarters, Yola, AIG Akinwale Kunle Adeniran, psc, mni, received the PCRC National Women Coordinator in charge Northeast geopolitical Zone,Comrade Lucy Dlama Yunana, with her entourage on a courtesy visit.

In a press statement released by the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer,SP Yusuf Adamu Mohammed detailed that the guests were warmly received by the AIG alongside members of his management team.

In her remarks, Comrade stated that, the visit was aimed at promoting the campaign against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and emphasized the need for GBV Desk Officers in all Divisional Headquarters across the Zone. She further expressed her delight at the warm reception accorded to them.

In response, the AIG welcomed the august guest wholeheartedly, and expressed his appreciation for the visit. He reiterated that his door is always open for pivotal initiatives that can improve policing, safe guard lives, and protect property.
