YOLA —By Ojoma Yusuf,Yola
Aspirant for House of Representatives for Guyuk and Shelleng Federal Constituency, Golfa Mallim, has expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will reclaim more political seats in Adamawa State in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a meeting with party stakeholders and youth leaders in Yola, Mallim praised the leadership qualities of Alhaji Hamza Madagali, recently elected as the state PDP chairman, describing him as a “man of the people” and a “visionary leader.”
Mallim, who is seeking to represent Guyuk and Shelleng in the National Assembly, said the PDP is poised for a strong comeback in Adamawa under Madagali’s leadership.
“With Madagali at the helm, the PDP will be better positioned to reclaim lost ground and expand its influence across the state,” she said.
She emphasized the importance of strengthening the party’s internal structures and promoting unity as preparations for the 2027 elections intensify.
Mallim lauded Madagali’s inclusive and transparent leadership style, saying it would help consolidate the party’s base across all 21 local government areas of the state.
According to her, the PDP under Madagali is expected to focus on citizen-driven policies that align with the party’s core values of justice, equity, and service to the people.
“The PDP in Adamawa will not only reclaim political seats but also push for policies that directly address the needs and aspirations of everyday citizens,” Mallim added.
Her remarks reflect growing optimism within the PDP ranks as the party gears up for what is expected to be a fiercely contested election season.
