POLICE ARREST 2 SUSPECTS FOR KIDNAPPING IN ADAMAWA

The Adamawa State Police Command has again recorded a trimendous success in its sustained efforts to combat kidnapping and other violent crimes across the state.The command spokesperson SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje detailed that the Command’s operatives attarched to Song Divisional police headquarters in collaboration with Hunters acted on timely and credible information and conducted a cordinated raid on a suspected criminal hideouts situated at a remote site of Balma Village, Song Local Government Area.During the operation, two suspects were arrested :-(1) Shaibu Mohammadu, 30 years, and(2) Ja’o Bawa, 31 years, all males of various addressesIntetestingly, One locally fabricated revolver Assault rifle was recovered from the suspects and will be treated as an exhibit.During priliminary investigation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in a series of kidnapping activities within Song and its environs. Efforts are currently ongoing to track down and arrest other members of their syndicate who are presently at large.The Commissioner of Police, *CP Dankombo Morris, PSC (+),* commends the giant stride and collaboration of the police and the community that led to this success and reassured members of the public the Command’s commitment to rid the State of criminal elements.While encouraging members of the public to continue providing timely and useful information, the Command assures residents that all suspects will be diligently prosecuted in accordance with the laws of the land.
