POLICE ARREST 30-YEAR-OLD SUSPECT FOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING FATHER, DUMPING THE CORPSE IN A WELL

The Adamawa State Police Command has successfully arrested Peter Sinamai, 30 years, a resident of Sangere Gombi LGA in connection with the alleged killing of his biological father and the dumping of the corpse in a well.
In a press statement by the command public relations officer,SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje detailed that the suspect was arrested following a report received by operatives of the Command. Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect allegedly killed his biological father and disposed of the body in a well within their community.
The Commissioner of Police, *CP Kabiru Umar Hassan, fdc,* has ordered a discreet and thorough investigation into the matter to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. The corpse has been recovered and deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.
The CP condemns the act in the strongest terms and reassures the public of the Command’s commitment to ensuring justice is served. He further urges members of the public to always seek lawful and peaceful means of resolving family disputes and to seek appropriate intervention whenever conflicts arise.
The suspect will be charged to court upon the conclusion of the investigation
