City Boy Movement Trains Adamawa Youth on E-Registration Membership Drive

The City Boy Movement has commenced an e-registration membership drive in Adamawa State, training youths from the 21 local government areas of the state on the process.

The official flag-off of the exercise was held in Yola, where three youths from each of the 21 local government areas participated in the training.

The State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, Sulieman Danasabe Kakanda, who represented the movement’s Director, Aliyu Wakili Boya, urged the participants to take advantage of the e-registration platform and acquire the necessary skills to register other youths in their respective local government areas.

Kakanda said the movement was targeting 2.2 million youths across the state as part of its membership mobilisation drive.

He charged the trainees to take the message of the movement to their communities, register more youths and mobilise them to participate actively in the electoral process.

According to him, the movement is also seeking to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in forthcoming elections.

Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Adamawa State Government on Youth, Safrat Dongus, congratulated the trainees and encouraged them to return to their respective local government areas to engage and mobilise more young people.

Dongus urged the participants to use the knowledge acquired during the training to expand the movement’s reach among youths across the state.

She stressed the importance of youth participation in the political process, urging the trainees to remain committed to the mobilisation effort.

Responding on behalf of the trainees, one of the participants appreciated the coordinators of the City Boy Movement for organising the training and pledged that the participants would take the campaign to their various local government areas.

He also called on other youths to embrace the registration exercise, describing the movement as a platform through which young people could participate in political mobilisation.

The trainees from the 21 local government areas subsequently pledged to return to their communities as ambassadors of the City Boy Movement and commence the mobilisation and e-registration of other youths.
