NUJ Adamawa Congratulates Secretary on Promotion to Director, News and Current Affairs

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Council, has congratulated its Secretary, Comrade Kissinger Bukar, on his promotion to the position of Director, News and Current Affairs, Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Yola.

The council, in a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman, Abdullahi Ibrahim, described the promotion as recognition of Bukar’s dedication, professionalism and contributions to journalism and broadcasting over the years.

According to the council, Bukar has demonstrated competence, integrity and commitment to professional ethics in the discharge of his responsibilities as a journalist and active member of the NUJ.

The council said his elevation was a source of pride to the Adamawa State Council and the wider journalism community in the state.

It expressed confidence that Bukar would deploy his wealth of experience and professional expertise to strengthen the News and Current Affairs Department of ABC, Yola, in his new capacity.

The NUJ leadership also wished him continued success and greater achievements as he assumes the new responsibility.

The council prayed for wisdom, good health and strength for Bukar as he begins his tenure as Director, News and Current Affairs of the state-owned broadcasting corporation.
